Each and every one of below solutions is much poorer than psychoanalysis – on which 1 ER® is based – in sense of breadth of recognition of the subject:

  • psychotherapy
  • life coaching
  • couple’s therapy
  • family workshops

They have much more narrow perspective due to lack of consideration of the subject of the unconscious, which plays a central role in psychoanalysis as well as in 1 Executive Retreat®. There is nothing wrong with that, simply other methods provide different outcome, doubtlessly more limited and/or imprecise. Limited because for example couple’s therapy limits itself only to questions that arise between spouses and toward each other, and doesn’t try to find out what causes in each one of them that the problem arises? Imprecise because for example what concrete solutions can we draw from individual psychotherapy toward the problem that occurs in the family? Or from life coaching cycle where worked out solutions or recommendations won’t allow to be implemented? In brief one can say that problem rests in the fact that psychologist, life coach or psychotherapist is not a psychoanalyst, so s/he does not understand the position of the subject of the unconscious, thus must ignore everything what is linked to it. Disconnecting these two fields conscious-unconscious and dealing only with what is conscious leads searching for solution astray, narrows perspective and limits possibilities of finding the answer.

Fundamental difference, which produces all the above differences is that psychoanalyst went through her/his own analysis. S/he was not trained, educated, nor has learned his/her experience from the books. S/he has experienced it him/herself. Wouldn’t it be great if every time we suffer from something we’d be treated by a doctor who underwent exactly the same disease? Why don’t we ever complain about doctors curing us from cold or flu? Isn’t it due to knowing that they’re doing their best because they have experienced it themselves?

1ER® Home, in the person of its founder offers most advanced domain in the sphere of human psyche which is Lacanian psychoanalysis.

1. Why 1ER® Home and not life coaching?

  • Life coach is someone who was trained. S/he works only in the field of conscious. Can give advice, which have no chance of ever being put to work;
  • In 1ER® there is an offsite setting conjoined with copyrighted in-and-out™ method of problem solving, whereas life coach work lengthy hours, throughout weeks or months – one cannot get the effect of outside, fresh look at the problems;
  • Only in 1ER® the analytical perspective occurs, leading to deepening the consideration of the problem from each participant perspective.

2. Why 1ER® Home and not psychotherapy?

  • Psychotherapy deals exclusively with problems related to one person;
  • It disregards the whole family aspect;
  • It is always oriented in some way. Unfortunately one never knows if this orientation is proper for the person who undergoes therapy.

3.  Why 1ER® Home and not couple’s therapy?

  • Couple’s therapy focuses itself on reciprocal demands of spouses made to each other;
  • It does not answer the question where the issue came from and how every person involved is situating her/himself toward it;
  • Set up of collective sessions causes that participants do not focus on their own thoughts and emotions, but on the dynamics of the relation which doesn’t work;

4. Why 1 ER® and not the family workshop?

  • Only individual approach – we do not apply the circus of group therapy;
  • You are together, but everyone is solving her/his problem separately;
  • Everybody analyses her/his own approach to the issue – there is no baneful for finding solution influence of other’s opinions;
  • We ask for reasons and causes, not learn how to ignore the problem.
